| Job Description : | Trinity United Methodist Church, Poquoson VA, is seeking a part-time, (8 to 10 hours per week), Contemporary Music Director. The salary range is 8 to 10K per year, commensurate with experience and job qualifications. The ideal candidate must have an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. The successful applicant will demonstrate knowledge of and a love for contemporary praise and worship music and provide spiritual leadership and direction for the music ministries of our church.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, collaborative planning and selection of music for weekly and special services, leading rehearsals, recruiting and working with volunteers in the praise team, and leading music during the 8:45 worship service. A degree in music and/or experience in leadingmusic in a church-related setting and performance in voice, piano, or other instruments is preferred.
