Come play with us.Pocket.watch is currently seeking a Character Modeler for a 6-month project to help bring our digital characters to life. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of relevant experience modeling characters for Animation and Motion Capture. This is an excellent opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a trailblazing entertainment company and work with top industry executives.*Responsibilities: *Work with Directors, Character Designers, Animators, and Riggers to work with polygonal topologies to create highly-stylized and appealing characters with their associated props.Develop and refine textures for 3D characters and props.UV mappingUse creative problem solving and innovative uses of technology to assist in pocket.watch and creator productions.Stay informed of animation technology trends – make recommendations and adopt new tools and methodologies to continually improve efficiency and enhance our animated series.Other duties as assigned.*Qualifications: *Knowledge and Experience3-5 years of Animation industry experience modeling and texturing in Maya.Ability to translate 2d artwork to 3d models/sculpts.Knowledge of surfacing and rendering in Unreal Engine.Experience with Xgen both in Maya and Unreal is a plus.Experience modeling blendshapes for ARKit is a plus.Experience in ZBrush or similar sculpting program is a plus.Familiarity with Slack, Asana, Dropbox and Google Drive is a plus._Skills_Organized, dependable, knowledgeable and detail oriented.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.A positive and enthusiastic attitude.Detail oriented and easily able to manage both time and priorities without compromising quality of work.Able to work collaboratively within a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment._Work Environment_Work is done remotely in the environment of the employee’s choosing.If required to work at any Company office, location, or with any Company employee, the worker must provide written proof of COVID-19 vaccination from the vaccine administrator or a CDC vaccination card, which includes the vaccination place, date(s), and name of vaccine._Physical Demands_Must have close visual acuity to perform the primary responsibilities of this position.Work is sedentary in nature and involves sitting most of the time.Must have good physical dexterity and the ability to constantly operate a computer, mouse, etc.Direct applicants only, please.PocketWatch, Inc. and its subsidiary and affiliated companies are Equal Opportunity Employers.gb01btilzqJob Type: Temporary
