Big Night Entertainment Group is looking for an upbeat and enthusiastic Reservations Specialist to join our team! The hours for this full-time position will include nights and weekends so flexible availability is a must.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
As a Reservations Specialist, a typical day might include the following:
Be the first point of contact for all Big Night incoming calls
Answer phone calls, screen calls and direct callers to the appropriate department / person
Take and relay messages
Provide accurate information to callers regarding all Big Night properties, answer queries
Book dinner reservations using the appropriate systems
Enter events into event booking program as requested or needed
Provide general administrative and clerical support if requested including preparing letters and documents, sending thank you notes and cards, filing, ordering office supplies, opening and sorting incoming mail, sorting and sending outgoing mail, collecting and distributing packages
Other duties to be assigned

Skills/Qualifications

This job might be for you if you demonstrate the following abilities and meet the following qualifications:
You have at least 1 year previous call center experience related to the hospitality industry
Former restaurant experience in a plus
Knowledge of OpenTable, SevenRooms and/or similar reservation systems is a plus
Evening availability is a must
You are able to communicate effectively and accurately with customers, the public and co-workers
You are able to demonstrate teamwork with other staff members
You have knowledge of general administrative and clerical procedures
You have knowledge of computers and relevant software applications
You have exemplary customer service skills
You have advanced keyboard and typing skills
