| Job Description : | Balloons by Tommy is an LGBTQ+ owned and operated company looking for a creative, high energy, and motivated individual to create stunning balloon décor for both home delivery and corporate events. This position requires the ability to tie a balloon, lift and carry 40lbs, drive delivery vehicles responsibly, deliver and setup on-site décor, and have professional customer communication and service skills. In addition, you will be using your wrists, hands, and fingers while standing, bending, or kneeling regularly. Applicants must be 21 years of age or older with a professional appearance and attitude. You will need to be able to visually identify multiple shades of colors, have a smart phone capable of taking high quality photos and send them via a company specified messaging app, and be flexible to work early mornings and weekends based on business demands. We will fully train you on all balloon designs and techniques; no experience preferred! You will be required to sign an NDA and non-compete agreement if hired. While this is a fun job environment; things can get busy and overwhelming quickly. The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and staying calm under pressure is a must. Potential to move to Full Time.Friday & Saturday availability from 9am-3pm is required, weekday shifts are also available. 20 hours a week guaranteed.Duties Include:- Pulling product for orders: correct balloon colors, sizes, and any additional add-on items- Assembling orders: inflate, tie, and assemble order according to company standards- Prioritizing workload to ensure all orders are completed in a timely manner- Delivery and setup of residential and corporate balloon décor with company vehicles- Assistance in maintaining general cleanliness of the shop throughout the day- Assistance in maintaining general cleanliness of delivery vehicles and taking them in for maintenance as needed- Maintaining balloon inventory, including supply pickups as needed- Maintaining a consistent on time work attendanceTypical end time:3PMTypical start time:9AMWork RemotelyNoThis Job Is Ideal for Someone Who Is:Dependable — more reliable than spontaneousInnovative — prefers working in unconventional ways or on tasks that require creativityJob Type: Part-timePay: $15.00 per hourBenefits:Flexible scheduleCOVID-19 considerations:We require all candidates to be fully vaccinated with proof.
