Job Description : Caesars Entertainment is Blazing the Trail for our team members with an all new benefits program. KEY JOB FUNCTIONS :
Responsible for setup, programming, and breakdown of all audio, visual systems, as directed.
Works with customers to plan and detail their events. Coordinates event activities with necessary departments at the facility to ensure success of the events.
Plans, organizes, and manages events within the facility including monitoring the logistics of these events, and all event coordination tasks after events are booked through the conclusion.
Responsible for facilitating Information Technologies (internet, telephone, scoreboard, videoboards and audio/visual equipment) within the facility.
Stores equipment in pre-designated areas.
Performs and/or directs maintenance on equipment used for all audio, visual, internet, and phone systems at the Mid-America Center
Operates forklift, lifts, and other equipment as related to arena audio, visual and technical operations and ensures proper maintenance of equipment is completed on an on-going basis.
Implements training programs, establishes methods, procedures and safety guidelines required to maintain desired standards, and high-quality service, then monitors results through inspection. Makes changes if necessary to maintain end result.
Presents oneself as a credit to Company and encourages others to do the same.
Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or GED required.
Production, audio/visual experience with content programming, rigging experience preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Good oral and written communication skills including tact when dealing with difficult customers.
Must be fluent and literate in English.
Excellent interpersonal skills and organizational ability.
Ability to perform effectively under significant pressure typically associated with meeting the demands and timetables of the entertainment industry.
Considerable knowledge of safety regulations and other federal, state or local laws and regulations.
Strong orientation towards hospitality/customer service for the meeting, convention and entertainment industry.
Basic knowledge of facility/event operating standards and equipment maintenance.
Must be proficient in video and audio programming software, AutoCAD, Excel, Word, Power Point, Access, and Microsoft Outlook.
Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.
Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business.
Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to lift up to 50 lbs., and ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop and stack. Must be able to run on level surfaces, as well as, up and down stairs.
WORK ENVIRONMENT :
Must be able to work in areas containing dust, secondhand smoke, varying noise and temperature levels, lighting, vibration, crowds and air quality.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be flexible with schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required. Will be subject to call 24 hours in case of emergency or facility need.
